Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test cases to cover end-to-end scenarios, including database interactions, regression testing, and bug retests.
• Assist in planning and preparing the overall test strategy for the project.
• Regularly report on risks, issues, and progress to ensure transparency and facilitate decision-making.
• Actively participate in Scrum meetings and planning sessions, providing insights and updates.
• Collaborate with the development team to recommend improvements and best practices for software quality.

Skills

• Demonstrate a proactive approach to collaboration and problem-solving within the team.
• Proficient in writing and executing SQL queries to validate data integrity and support testing efforts.
• Experience in analyzing requirements and functional specifications, with the ability to create and review effective test cases.
• Familiarity with various software testing life cycle models (e.g., V-model, Waterfall, Agile), with a preference for Agile methodologies.
• Strong skills in documentation practices related to testing processes and results.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information to team members and stakeholders.
• A certification from a reputable institute in software testing is a plus.
