Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and code web applications according to business requirements.
• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code using best software development practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
• Improve the performance of existing applications.
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
• Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers, helping them grow their technical skills and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards.
• Work with DevOps teams to deploy and maintain applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Stay up to date with PHP frameworks, new technologies, and industry trends.

Skills

• 3+ years of experience in web application programming.
• Strong proficiency in PHP and web-based application development.
• In-depth knowledge of relational database systems (MySQL) and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Experience with PHP frameworks such as CodeIgniter, Laravel, or Symfony.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with front-end frameworks like Angular or React is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Excellent relational database skills, particularly with MySQL.
• Strong logical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain a strong work ethic and produce high-quality, scalable code.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
