Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain and execute manual and automated test cases.
• Create detailed unit tests and other test cases tailored to different user personas who log into the platform, ensuring that each role and group functions as expected, ensuring front-end and back-end components operate correctly and cohesively.
• Test API access and interactions based on permissions and roles, ensuring that security and data access control are properly enforced across different user profiles.
• Conduct performance testing, focusing on page load times and overall platform responsiveness, identifying areas where optimization is required.
• Test the integration of external systems such as API servers, and SSO (Single Sign-On) integrations, ensuring data flows smoothly between systems and functions as expected.
• Validate role-based access and permissions for various user personas, ensuring that different user roles have the appropriate level of access to features and data.
• Perform regular regression testing to ensure that new features or bug fixes do not negatively affect the existing functionality of the platform.
• Ensure that security protocols, including authentication and authorization mechanisms, work properly and safeguard the system from vulnerabilities.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide detailed feedback on potential issues by Identifying and documenting the defects, track issues, and collaborate with the development team for resolution.
• Design and implement automated tests for web and mobile applications and maintaining automated testing frameworks to streamline the testing process, especially for repetitive and critical functionality.
• Work with the development team to enhance automation and manual testing processes.
• Ensure high-quality standards through best testing practices.

Qualification and Skills

• 3+ years of experience in both manual and automation testing.
• Strong expertise in Selenium, Java, and RESTful API testing.
• Proficiency in manual testing methodologies and test case design.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
• Experience with performance testing tools and Techniques
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
