Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, configure, and optimize IT infrastructure, including Windows and Linux servers, networks, and cloud environments.
• Implement and enforce robust security protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
• Configure, monitor, and maintain firewalls and network security devices.
• Oversee installation, configuration, and updates of system software.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues across servers, desktops, and network infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventory.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system, network, and cybersecurity issues.
• Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, cybersecurity protocols, and standard operating procedures.
• Provide advanced technical support to users and assist in system and security training.
• Ensure systems adhere to security policies, regulatory compliance, and cybersecurity best practices.
• (Optional) Support DevOps practices like CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and cybersecurity roles.
• Strong proficiency in Windows and Linux system administration.
• Hands-on experience in firewall management, network security, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Expertise in hardware troubleshooting, software installation, and system updates.
• Familiarity with asset management, tracking, and compliance standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical and security issues independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• (Optional) Exposure to DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments) is a plus.
• (Desirable) Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), including planning and executing cloud migrations.
